What's on the menu for today??

Travel day, so we may end up stopping at the Casino for an easy 'feed.'

Obviously, we're having the elusive, Shrimp Salad, tonight....LOL! This will be after taking my mother out to lunch with oldest son in Southport. She's turning 80 today! You'd never know it to see her! She's a little dynamo!

I'm leavin' on a jet plane! I'd say airplane food, but they no longer serve food. So I am bringing a sandwich with me to eat when I get hungry.

I'll probably have a nice snack waiting for me at the end of the line in Oregon though. Can't wait!

Safe travels, Laura, and have a wonderful time. Looking forward to stories and photos.

Dinner tonight is undetermined. I'm heading to the market to see what looks good.

We are heading out camping today (a whole 30 minutes away). I'm not going to cook tonight so we are going to try a new little place about 5 minutes away from the campground that supposedly has really great fish tacos and poke. Yum. And then tomorrow morning I'm not cooking either (it's my vacation too!) and we will go to a great little french bakery in Newport Beach for pastries, sandwiches to go for lunch and baguettes for our pulled pork dinner.

Laura have a wonderful trip!!!

Daphne please wish you mommy a very Happy 80th Birthday!

Dinner will consist of yet another bag of chicken from the freezer. We only have 46 days left living in CA. Of course the first 2 weeks in OR will be driving back and forth to pick up cars, motorcycles and father in law

Happy Birthday, mom of Daph. Congrats, Denise, how exciting! Safe trip Laura and Happy Camping, Trix.
We're finishing out an evening shift so dinner has been lunch and it hasn't been anything great. Camping begins in a couple weeks. Jame's birthday on Sunday will be the next special meal
