OT: This is too cute

If you've been watching my puppy's Pinterest page, no doubt you've also seen Chanel - the female yellow-lab-mix puppy from upstairs and how she and my Mimosa have become good friends.

Well, just a few minutes ago, as I was straightening out a few things in the kitchen, I heard what almost sounded like a knock on the outer screen door, except that it seemed to have some scratching, too. Rather than opening the door, I just pulled aside one of the kitchen curtains and looked out.

Sure enough, there was Chanel, jumping up and pawing at the door.

Essentially, what she was doing was asking, "Can Mimosa come out to play?" LOL!

That's adorable, Labs! Could also be helpful down the road if you ever need a babysitter for a few days.

When we first got Charlie (from the pound) he was only 10 months old, yet already used to running loose all the time. He slipped out the door a few times and it was only much later that I found out from some of the neighbors that he was scratching at back doors looking for food. And, I would worry when he didn't seem hungry!
