Lol well this year Derek and I are doing the "Pub Crawl" with a group of friends. We will be visiting 9 local breweries and I think doing a scavenger hunt. That's on the 16th so I am going to assume the 17th will be a day of rest

I haven't heard if my sister is having a get-together or not yet (it's her favorite holiday) which would be on Saturday. Little League for my nephew seems to be dominating their lives (practice on Friday, game on Saturday, practice on Sunday). If we don't go there we will just have a traditional corned beef dinner at home.

And I always buy Michael some foil covered chocolate shamrocks from See's.

I love C@H's Whiskey-Glazed Corned Beef, so I'll probably make that recipe. I haven't really though about it beyond the beef, however!

I am doing the Whiskey Glazed Corned Beef again. The parsnip mashed potatoes and cabbage sides are super good as well. It is the best I've tried. Besides, while looking for some brandy I thought I had (didn't) I found I have enough whiskey to last me forever so I might as well use it up I brought back what my parents had accumulated over the years as well as what I had (most from gifts since I don't drink it). Found in some cases more than one bottle of Jack Daniels, CC, Crown Royal, and Chivas Regal among others.

I haven't thought about it much. Friday we have a tournament - a hamburger buffet for 40 people. I may be ruined. I know Bob and Jeff are talking about smoking some corned brisket so I'll play from there. I imagine I'll be working so whatever my guys decide - maybe I'll make a marble rye bread and we'll just skip to reubens.

I saw this today - can't remember if it's been posted before - the name is a bit "unfortunate" but it sounds like fun. St Patty's Jello Shots

Thank you Daphne . . . I am tired . . .
