Ok how about a Mango Chili Lime shot?



1 C Mango Nectar
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 T sugar
1 1/2 T lime juice
1/4 C Tequilla
1/4 C Captain Morgan's Lime Rum
1/4 C Margarita Mix
1/4 C Triple Sec
Chili Powder

In a microwave proof bowl add mango juice lime juice, and sugar. If the mango juice is from fresh mangoes, you must boil it first and then let cool. Otherwise, enzymes inside the mango will breakdown the gelatin.

If the juice is pasteurized, no problem.

Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over mixture and let stand a minute.
Microwave the mixture for 3 minutes until boiling.
Remove the bowl from the micrwave, stir, and let cool.
Add the alcohols and mix again.
Pour the gelatin mix into a small baking pan or individual silicon molds.
Refrigerate for two hours.
Remove the shots from the mold or cut into square from the pan.
Dip the shots in reserve lime juice and lightly dip into a plate sprinkle with chili powder.
