What's on the menu for today for everyone?

If I get the bacon smoked in time, we'll probably have BLTs for lunch. But we're going out to dinner tonight. The new restaurant we wanted to try last weekend, found out it is only open for dinner. So, will give it a try tonight.

I'm sure loving having this sourdough!!!!!! I made the best loaf of bread yesterday I ever have! And it was absolutely beautiful, too. So beautiful, I hated to even cut into it!!! I'm now considering myself a bread maker - FINALLY!



Even the little piggy is surprised how well it turned out!

I think that will make pretty good BLTs.

I pulled a steak out of the freezer (it could be either a rib eye or a top sirloin) - will grill that for steak and rice burritos. I might make a corn salsa for it too.

I brushed it with egg, but I've done that before and the crust sure hasn't turned out like that!!!!

Gorgeous bread! Found grass fed ground beef today so burgers and corn off the cob for dinner tonight.

I'm working on my birthday dinner tonight, since it never got made last night. We had a plumbing problem in the kitchen, so ended up ordering take-out.

Wow, is it smelling yummy in my house right now!
