Tuesday's Dinner, 6/11/13??

What's on the menu for today?

The Pillsbury idea for making corn chip tacos is intriguing me - except some person at Safeway told Roy "Oh Yeah, that's the same thing...that's what she wants!" So, Roy brought home a box of PIllsbury pie crust instead of a tube of Pillsbury sheet dough.... Jerk.

But I have sourdough going so will make some pizza dough and play.

LOL Jean!

Tony bought some really nice looking "choice" top sirloin at Costco on Sunday - looks almost like a filet! Just a basic marinade and grilling it. Baked sweet potatoes and a salad.

We're doing coke-brined chicken tonight with a side of orzo salad that Holly made.

Forgot to mention the "No-No" we're making sometime today!!

Peanut Butter Bourbon Milkshake

2 oz. bourbon
½ oz. maple syrup
¼ cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until fully incorporated and frothy.

-----------
Then, I promise I will not come on the boards.

Oh, I copied that one Maryann! Yesterday, I mixed some orzo with the last of my "Maryann's" Mexican rice that was so darn hot and it was really good. So, I do have orzo with me. and feta

You know Jean, you are making this whole retirement idea look way too enticing!

(Small change to my dinner plans- taking a page from Blane's playbook and am topping the steaks with creamed spinach rather than having a salad on the side).
