What's on the menu for everyone today??

We stopped at the casino for a "last supper" of no-no food and had 2 orders of deep fried seafood!! So, we really had leftovers and I'm going to do a version of Creole Pizza aka Coon [censored] (oooops A$$ Pizza. Haven't made it in the longest time.

(that will take about 1/2 the leftovers - any unusual ideas for the rest??? )

Sorry, no help here, but the sure do love the Creole pizza.

I'm thinking of doing a sichuan stir-fried pork with garlic sauce that I saw on Cook's Country that looked really good.

Oh my, what a success this morphing was. I was so surprised that the seafood stayed nicely crisp and none tough/overcooked!!

I put 1/3 of our leftover seafood on a b. sheet and heated in the 500° oven for ~4 min. By the time they were hot, I had the pizza dough topped with everything except the pepper rings, parm and black pepper. Added that and baked in the oven for 8 minutes. I did turn the broiler on to brown up the top a little, but didn't leave in more that 2 minutes (as it was heating) as I was afraid for the seafood.

The pizza was so good!! So, if you have leftover deep fried seafood, be sure to take it home!! I was going to look for other uses for the other 2/3 of the seafood, but I stuck it in the freezer and I think I'll just make this pizza everytime Maryann mentions it and I get to drooling.

Dang! That is a delicious looking pizza.

Tonight it's tarragon cream chicken, potato confit and asparagus.

This afternoon, I started the French Onion Salisbury Steak on Cheesy Garlic Bread before heading out to church. Ashley came home tonight in time to finish it up and make the peas. She had it ready to serve the minute we walked in! She did good!

Now, Salisbury Steak sounds like a good place to introduce some minced-up mushrooms cooked in Jean's anchovy butter.

Pork loin chops in a sesame ginger marinade with pears over noodles with stir fried peppers and green beans in a sirarcha sauce. Nummmy. Down and dirty with Sesame ginger dressing/marinade and yakisoba noodles (minus the seasoning pkt).

We are now down to freezer diving and quick meals. Dr. says I need to go "low fat". Okay, once I get rid of my stress!
