What's on the menu for everyone today??
More testing for me - want to perfect a very basic bread pudding and also refine the French Dip we had yesterday. So, really eclectic around here.

Turkeys were on sale this week, so today Ron will use the rotisserie and put some apple wood in there for a light smoke. After dinner we will package some of it for the freezer. Very handy for sandwiches. Not sure about a side, but will probably do some grilled vegs.

They must have known it is Canadian Thanksgiving! Sure sounds good!

After the HUGE spread at the church today, I probably ought to skip dinner! LOL! But there was a little ham left, so I'll probably have a ham sandwich with the little bit of potato salad that was left. It turned out really well! Thanks for the recipe, Alina!

Well, the search for an Old Fashioned Bread Pudding was a success. Made 2 this morning and had my neighbor who instigated the search in the first place (wanted his mom's bread pudding) and I needed more dessert recipes for the book over for tasting.
May I say right off, I hate competing with mothers' recipes!!! No way, can I win.
But, he seemed pleased with his 2 helpings.
One more down and a few more to go.

Jean, that is one of your best plating/pictures ever! Wow!
Denise, it's just toasted baguette slices with melted cheese, not a loaf that I baked.
