Wednesday's Dinner, 2/18/15??

What's on the menu for today?

Fried rice 2 days in a row - this time a mango/pork with poblano. And, later we'll split another tuna sandwich - another repeat.

These darn buns have made me hungry for a burger...remember the one we all made a long time ago, it had some kind of sauce on it - hope I can remember and find it again.

Could it have been a pimento cheese sauce? I made that burger once and it was so heavenly.

We are having more chicken noodle soup but added a little cream to the leftovers to change it a little. Garlic bread on the side.

That was a really good burger.

Tonight it's out to dinner! I think we're going to go Here! It sounds fun . . . and we can walk there from here.

It seems like I'm the only one who hasn't made that burger.

Tonight it's filets w/ brandy mushroom sauce, baked potato and asparagus.

We're both sitting here still going "burp" after a surprise amazing lunch in Astoria, Oregon. The gal at the liquor store gave us a card for the restaurant (
The Silver Salmon Grille) offering a 15% discount. The lunch was amazing, service was great, and it certainly wasn't terribly pricey. We'll relax a bit and then walk over for dinner. When we get home we're going to be eating beans . . . but this trip has been worth it.

For those of us who have yet to try the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Burger, HERE it is.

Also take note of who posted it.
