New Issue #110

  Re: (...)
Just got mine this morning and I see a few things I'd like to try.

Chorizo Chilaquiles
Creole Shrimp Burgers w/a remoulade sauce (these look great - I would probably top with a slice of crispy bacon), cajun oven fries
Lamb chops with a tomato yogurt sauce
Sauteed chick peas, escarole and orechiette
I never bake my own Easter ham but the baked ham with cherry maple glaze looks beautiful
Creamed peas and carrots
Croque Monsieur with a dijon bechamel sauce
Chicken ala king crepes
Sauteed chicken with veracruz sauce (good weeknight idea)
Seared scallops with coconut lime beurre blanc
Pastrami sandwiches with sour cream caper dressing (yum)

For those of you who still subscribe, what jumped out at you?

Mine came in on Saturday, so I have only gone through it once, but my initial impression was that this issue has several good sounding recipes such as the ones that Trixxee has already listed. The Creole Shrimp Burgers are calling my name.

Is it time we tried another review dinner? Daphne, do you feel like doing a birthday dinner?

I'll have to check the mail. I almost let my subscription slip. And I can't remember if my digital link arrived in my email. But I'd be willing to choose. Off to look.

No email, but the latest issue is said to have been sent, so I'll have to check the mail when I go out later. I sent off an email to customer service about the digital access. Until then, I'll have to hope my copy is in the box.

The yeast waffles with the maple spread were delicious! I have several of the recipes on the to make list, starting with the scallops this Thursday. Next week the Tiranisu crepes.

Yay Daphne! I'm in.

Trixxee, thanks for posting this thread.

I've been really happy with this issue. We loved the chicken and waffles and will be trying the carbonara tomorrow. I don't think I'm done cooking from this issue yet!
