What's on the menu today for everyone??
Leftovers here again - we stopped in a Mexican restaurant here in Mesilla, NM after walking all over town to have a light (
) lunch. Ordered Nachos Tostada from the appie menu and stupidly each ordered one. They were humungeous!! We barely could eat a third of them.
I couldn't stand to leave them for the garbage even tho, heating nachos?? didn't sound appealing. But, in the middle of the night I thought of trying a torte using them. We'll see.

Or you could try chilaquiles?
Leftovers here as well - the indonesian ginger wings and I'll heat up a couple of TJ's scallion pancakes.

I went with the Chilaquiles, but the hit of the meal was the Salsa Verde from my book, "300 Best Tacos" - man, it's tasty!!

I love salsa verde, and chilaquiles! It sounds wonderful, Jean!
We're having fried rice tonight. I'm using some Chinese BBQ pork that I have in the freezer.

Now I'm in the mood to try the chorizo chilaquiles from the new menu.

I have no idea! My "Boys" just called - they are picking up something to throw on the grill and a salad. I have no idea what they'll bring home.

Did I actually type out new MENU? Good grief. Glad you knew what I meant, Karyn. LOL.
