Just saw this over on King Arthur's newsletter -

FIVE GREAT REASONS TO USE A BREAD MACHINE: BEYOND BREAD

And then..... this blog -
Hunt, Gather, Cook

an excerpt from this guy -
“My first book, Hunt, Gather, Cook: Finding the Forgotten Feast, was released in 2011 by Rodale Books. My hope is that the book will help open the world of foraging, hunting and fishing to those interested in food, but who may have never hunted mushrooms or picked up a gun or cast a rod and reel before.”

Funny, it never entered my mind to cook my Sunday sauce in the bread machine.

Hank Shaw's blog is interesting. I find foraging fascinating, although I would probably be too afraid to do it on my own until I learned a lot more about it. He mentions that his third book is about using venison. I'll be watching for that one as well.

I'm fascinated with the bread machine ideas! Rissotto! WOW!

William was fascinated with the blog, as was I.

Thanks for sharing both!
