What's on the menu for today??
Rain, rain, rain here - it's a good thing this time!!
I have lots of leftovers from last night's dinner, so not sure what direction to go right now. But, I did take out a pizza dough ball before I went to bed.

I've been planning all week to go see Meryl Streep's new movie - Jazzie something. darn, it's no longer playing here in town.

I don't have a clue. Ashley has been out of town this last week, but she is back now. I tasked her to find an idea for dinner.

CA chose dinner today, fried chicken with potato salad. Not exactly rain food.

Either beer can chicken or meatloaf. Whichever one we don't have today we'll have tomorrow, and that will give us plenty of options for leftovers for the school week.
I already see a patty melt type of sandwich in our future with sliced meatloaf.

Or split the difference: beer-can meatloaf? LOL!

I just saw a pizza on Noble Pig's newsletter - Dill Pickle and Hot Pastrami Deli Pizza and bells went off in my mind.
I have a couple brats left and I have B&B pickles - think I'll adapt to another 'deli pizza' direction. I'm almost drooling over this one.

Well you did give me an idea. I bet slices of leftover meatloaf grilled would be good!

My sister-in-law needed to have a weekend away, so she went home to New York for a long weekend. So, Ron and I are spending the weekend with his parents. We'll take them out for dinner tonight and maybe a walk around the park or mall.
They like to go out for Italian food, so probably Buca di Peppo.
