I hope that it's just the water level. Oh, and make sure the water outlet is facing out into the water, unless you are cooking eggs. I am betting that the company will stand behind their product.

We scored Saturday! 2 dozen ears of corn! We'll be tossing them in the Anova today, after I get off work. Yeah! Some wonderful corn for the winter.
You only live once . . . but if you do it right once should be enough!

It must have been user error -worked great today!!! Whew!

PORK - SOUS VIDE - Honey Garlic Pork Chops
Brine the pork chops in a brine of:
2 cups cold water
1 T. cider vinegar
1 tsp. each: sugar and salt
Black pepper to taste

Prick the pork a few times with a fork, then soak in the brine 1 hour; remove and pat dry. Set aside and make the Honey Garlic BBQ Sauce

1 cup ketchup
1/3cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 lbs boneless pork chops, 6 - 4 ounce portions)
Salt and pepper, to taste

In a medium bowl stir together ketchup, honey, soy sauce and garlic. Set aside.
Put pork chops in a baggie and pour in some of the BBQ sauce. Marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Remove the pork from the marinade (or if you didn’t use very much, plan on using the same bag for sous vide).

Sous Vide – 143° for 2 – 2 1/2 hours.
Remove from bag and do a quick grill for nice color brushing the chops with some of the BBQ sauce or use the Searzall to give color.

Served this with mashed roasted homegrown Yukons topped with ‘Double Cheese & Apricot Spread’ (from Pantry Book). Wonderful combination of flavors.

Leftovers will be Honey Garlic Pork Hash with Apricot cheese

Well, now that I know this thread is working  I'll add two things to it.

First, at the time when I had the trouble with this thread, I had just cooked a ribeye with the Anova and it was beautiful.

Second, I needed to go to Target, this morning, when Walmart didn't have something I needed and look what Target actually had on display and in stock:
