Just got my 8 qt. today. Here are some pics showing the difference between the 6 qt. and the 8 qt. The liner for the 6 fits inside the liner for the 8.

I'm thinking I'll be happy with the 6-qt. size. Even on the road (which I'm anxious to use this) it's a great size for me.
