Monday's Dinner, 4/11/16

  Re: (...)
What's on the menu for everyone today??

I have a couple Game Day Sandwiches and a little (the two guys ate like they had hollow legs ) chili left, so we'll clean that up.

AND, Murphy's Law - The tree is gone, but we still can't see the darn mountains....

This is how the tree looked when we bought the little farmhouse

and now - it was sunshiny right up to when they started cutting it down.

Beautiful even in the clouds. I feel like I'm living in the PNW. Haven't seen the sun since Wednesday morning, not that I'm keeping track.

We are having meatball subs.

Beautiful view! and you won't have to clean up the leaves in the Fall.

I'm making chicken piccata with asparagus.

I still haven't finished menu planning. But William needed the car, so I couldn't have gone grocery shopping anyway. If I stay stuck, I think I'll add meatball subs and chicken piccata to the menu.

Anyway, I pulled out a baked ziti from the freezer. Just need a salad.

The sun will come out and you'll love your view, Jean!

Daphne, isn't it nice to have options in the freezer?

We're having Shish Taouk with Toum or, chicken kebabs with grilling cheese, veggies, and garlic sauce. I've never made it before, but it sounded good to me.

Exactly, Karyn! I've been very careful to make an extra effort these days. And that dish sounds really yummy! Let us know how it turns out! I'm cruising the dinner threads for dinner ideas right now!

Jean, just think how glorious it will be when you start having more sunny days! Be patient! LOL!

Jean, I'll throw back your favorite saying: "knockers up", Jean! I know I've got my view, and I know you'll have yours soon! But the joy of the view is the appreciation of all the changes in the views. And know that you will embrace all the changes in your views you discover along the way..including this one.

And I got my meal plan for a week and a half! Some is flexible due to what comes on special come Wednesday.
