what's on the menu for today for everyone??

We are on the road today. William has an appointment with his neurologist at Duke. He's hoping to be able to come off of some more seizure meds. He's excited!

Anyway, since we will be traveling close to dinner time, we will probably grab something along the way.

Good luck, Daphne! Hope William has good news.

Dinner tonight will be l/os. Have a couple of ribs from the other day, and chicken l/o from last night that I will cut up and put on a salad.

ETA: Blane, your Chinese Almond Chicken recipe is delicious! I think it's Ron's new favorite. Do you add Old Bay Seasoning to the Golden Dipt Batter?

Maryann, I only use the Golden Dipt when I'm in a hurry, I normally use the beer batter recipe from issue #105, which has Old Bay seasoning in it. I should have mentioned this.

ETA: I'm so happy that you liked the "recipe".

Asian Cajun Pizza – Convoluted, but what wonderful flavors.

Sautéed pears

I let the pears cool and layered the pizza with
Sauce (Creole sauce mixed with Hoisin and Blackberry jelly – weird but worked)
Mozz. cheese
Julienned Smoked Duck
Sautéed Pears
Bellavitano Chai Cheese (cheese club)
Honeyed walnuts

The flavors were wonderful!

Reminds me of a pressed sandwich at a restaurant in Orlando: duck, apple and Brie. Yum!
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?
