What's on the menu for everyone today??

Finally a Costco run today, so have no idea what we'll end up doing food wise.

Congratulations on getting the freezer empty enough to get your reward, Jean!

I'm doing the Take Out Wings that Susan made the other day. I'm also doing potato, salad and a simple green salad from my garden.

That's a tasty salad Susan.

Tonight it's the Steak Diane from issue #49.

Not cooking today. "The cold" that Ron is still battling 3 weeks later caught up to me. Really thought I was going to dodge this one.

Fortunately, I always have a good supply of soup in the freezer, so taking out one of those quarts and we will have that, maybe with some toastie sandwiches.

I hope your cold goes away much faster than Ron's!

We are going out for sushi and sake tonight.

Sake, oh yes!!! Just might have to get some of that for us. Great for a cold and anything else that ails you.

Just have to say (once again) how much I love my food saver! Took out a package of roast beef and gravy and another one with mashed potatoes. Hot beef sammies tonight.

Those will fix you up, Maryann!! Hope you both feel better soon.

Fun trip to Costco today. I now have salmon, cod, whole chickens (to be butchered) to add to the freezer. 2 cans (6#10oz. size) for cheap & dirty marinara and spaghetti (what I think of when I don't use San Marzanos ) sauce.

And, more goodies. Fun cooking for a while. Yes, Daphne, I'm so glad I found room in the freezer again.

I hope you feel better faster than Ron, too! I had hoped that since he's had it so long that maybe you had dodged it, too! Bummer!

Have fun, Jean!
