So, I'm sitting there last night innocently watching the news and the ousting of the Russians comes up and what the hell do I see???????????
My friggin' China which I got from family years ago one place setting at a time plus serving pieces until I have an entire 12 (or 14?) setting, in the Russian Embassy house.
Geez.....

I skipped Christmas, birthday, mother's day presents for I can't remember how many years to get the set. We didn't have a pot to pee in but we sure could set a fine table. I do have it with me in our storage room. Maybe I'll get a couple pieces out tomorrow to toast the Russians leaving.

Jean, you're funny!
Yes, take out a few pieces and enjoy them! Haven't you ever seen that list that someone wrote about all the things we should do before we die? On that list, they say, "eat off of the good china!" I would be having my morning coffee with it!

Good idea - In our last house (with huge kitchen) I had a shelf Roy built under a regular cupboard with vertical dowel rods and I had a couple dinner plates from each of my dishes so I could use them all. No place to do that here, tho.
