Oh My Goodness, I made the CB Biscuits!!!!! :) :)

Like CB Biscuits
2 c White Lily self-rising flour
1/3 c shortening
2/3 c buttermilk

Cut the shortening into the flour, stir in the buttermilk, mix 1 minute.Roll out on a lightly floured surface,about 1/2 inch. Make 12 biscuits. Bake at 450* for 8 minutes on a greased baking sheet.Brush with melted butter when they come out of the oven.
They turned out great!!!! They are white and soft like CB's. Yum Yum!!

Did you have/use White Lily flour?? I'll have to try these, I'm thinking brushing with a little bacon grease when just out of the oven would be a good thing also...

I got White Lily self-rising flour at the local Walmart, most stores here carry it.
