I don't know if any of you are subject to cold sores, but my sis is and she discovered a new medication available over-the-counter that fixes 'em right up. They don't linger on and crack and bleed. Within a day, they are gone. I don't tend to get them, but my nostrils get raw when I have a cold of hay fever and I use it on them, heals right up. This medication is called Abreva. It comes in a tiny little tube and costs about $15.99, but that tiny tube lasts a long time since you only use the smallest amount of it.

I'll tell my sister. She gets them occasionally and would love to hear of OTC medicine that works so quickly.

A lot of the meds just kind of have a topical pain killer, but this actually makes them go away.
