Back from Chile!

  Re: (...)
I had a great time getting my daughter and family established and missed some winter storms to boot. We were primarily on the shore so that the empanadas were cheese and seafood and deep fried. The tastiest thing I can report to you all is a cilantro sauce that was used for bread (from a Peruvian restaurant). I asked what was in it and they said homemade mayo, garlic and cilantro. I'll have to play around with it. They also had an olive sauce they said was similar, and it was pink.
