Re: (...)
I was getting all set to begin my mise en place for the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding and discovered (much to my surprise) it was Sunday and the liquor store wasn't open. Hence, no rum for the sauce. I decided I would tease the nurses some more tomorrow and pick up everything on the way home from the chemo. Nice ladies there and we harass them unmercifully. So, they'll get their treat on Tuesday.

Well, okay then....I guess we'll have to wait for your report. Don't forget now, most of us are really curious about that one!

Nurses ARE really special!!!! Treat them well!!!! In other words, we appreciate any type of recognition for the special time we give ( or should I say, gave---retired, ya' know!!!)

We went in for Fredia's chemo today and their blood test showed she was anemic, so she'll have to have a transfusion tomorrow [two units]. Then they'll begin the chemo on Wednesday or Thursday if she's no longer anemic. But, the cancer has again been reduced by about half. Good news!

That's great news, Billy! Thanks for letting us know that.
And please let Fredia know that we're all thinking about her and hoping that she is doing okay. This has to be a very difficult time for her, and for you too. I'm sure she knows how lucky she is to have you.

Retired too Roxanne, I loved it when someone brought something in, But it didn't happen very often. Good news with Fredia Billy, I am so pleased for you both.
