Something To Dream About....

This is the spinach coming on at the truck farm. Jack and Florence told me to help myself to whatever I wanted Don't that just blow your skirts up?

They plant 16 rows of it and then a week later another 16 rows, etc., etc.

You're too lucky, Billy! My former in-laws farm, so I'm lucky to have access, I feel very fortunate to have fresh produce whenever I want it, although our season is much shorter. I can't imagine living in the city (which, in New Hampshire-ishe, is ANY city, Boston being the closest)

I hope you take advantage!

Well, that makes the measly rows of spinach in my parched garden look absolutely pitiful... *sigh*

I hope you gave him some dressing to go with his spinach.

I do take advantage of the things available here. I'm going to get my sis to leave one of her 4-wheelers out so I can visit all the green houses and fields...there's lots of them. I usually make enough of whatever I'm making so Jack and Florence can have some too. I made them two 9" layers of SugarBrown's Mama's Mama's Banana Cake so they could have one frosted and one plain
