Re: (...)
I have a basil plant that has seemed to have doubled in the past week and I was wondering on how is the best way to store it. I know the trick of ice cubes but I dont have trays so looking for other suggestions.
thanks

We had a thread going on ways to keep basil a while back, Linda. My favorite way is to make a pesto, layer a baking sheet or something shallow with plastic wrap and spread the pesto in it. Freeze it and then when it's frozen, I just break up pieces and keep them in a ziplock or foodsaver bag (if you have the machine) and break off what I want over the winter.
