I made the Classic White Dressing and the gravy from the current issue and they were both outstanding. The dressing was so good and was not like one I have ever had due to the eggs but it was really tasty. the only thing is that it seemed to take longer to cook than stated by about 15 minutes (seemed wet) The gravy was really nice as well. Actually making both again at Christmas.

On occasion, Linda, we find one of the recipes that just doesn't seem to perform exactly as published. So, we make sure everyone knows about it. I'll have to drag out my magazine and look at it since I must have missed it. Thanks for the review.

Yes it was the cider gravy that is made with the homemade turkey broth. It was fantastic.

Hmmmmm, I have a couple of quarts of pork broth I've been wondering what to do with.

I used to make a wonderful gravy for roast pork with apple-sauce, and horseradish. Geeze my ex loved that. I think I need to make it for Bob!
