That would be really good. We've got lots of Indian markets around here (have to share on your next visit!) that have beautiful naan. Might have to give this a shot.

I have an Indian friend who makes roti and naan to die for. So good.

Texas Caviar
1 lb cooked and drained blackeyed peas (or field peas)
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 C corn oil
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 red & 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 jalepeno & 1 serrano pepper with seeds finely chopped
Juice from 1-2 limes
1 bunch chopped cilantro (thick stems removed)
Whip the lime juice and oil together--add to all other ingredients mix --let sit a few hours or overnite.
Serve with corn chips or --

How about a nice New England Clam Chowder...maybe Fish & Chips, Lobster, a traditional "New England Clam Bake" or even Boston Baked Beans...some of these will work great but others not so much. Just thought a "themed" party would be nice since it looks like a good year to be a New England sports fan.

'Tis, indeed, LJ! Watched both games last night. I'll definately pull out all the stops and (and the wallet) to do a seafood festival if we're in! Remind me to get some duct tape for Picky...does he think the players can actually HEAR him yelling at them

Well Seattle's out (I bet on Green Bay - can't get into Seahawks yet) - I just wish Chicago would get their act together again!!
May just think of a Superbowl party this year.....
