Neener, Neener!!!

It just may be that I am the first (for the first time!!) to get a C@H publication!!

Have you all seen "Soups, Stews & Chilies" out yet????
Some good lookin' dishes -
Colombian potato stew with tomato-stuffed avocados
chicken curry with mango salad
chicken feijoada with caipirinha (a rum drink)

For those who might be looking for a Friday night cocktail, here's the recipe -

Caipirinha
Brazil's most popular cocktail is made with sugar, limes, and cachaca (kuh-shah-suh), a sugar cane-derived spirit.
Makes 1 cocktail

1 lime, cut into 8 pieces
2 T. sugar
crushed ice
1/4 cup cachaca or white rum

Muddle lime and sugar together in a glass, crushing with the handle of a wooden spoon until fragrant.
Top with ice and cachaca; stir to combine.

and a beef and noodle soup with mushroom-herb salad that looks really good also.

I don't know about Jean, but it was HC that got it first. And yes, she got hers at Costco.

Wasn't me. It hasn't come to my local Sam's club yet. I like that the cookbooks are available in stores now. It gives me a chance to look through it before buying as opposed to the mail ordering. And, cookbooks are discount priced at Sam's... something like $6.88. I still take the regular magazine by mail, though.
