These boysenberries are what we are picking this year!! .5 oz. per berry -

And are they juicy (I was beginning to think I'd never be able to post anything from the garden this year.

Gosh, Jean, those look wonderful. I've not ever had boisin berries. Do they grow on a bush?

Soooo, what are you making with them? I don't think I've ever had a Boysenberry, but they sure look like my nieghbours blackberries. Any taste resemblance?

they are a cross of raspberry, blackberry and loganberry - usually they are redder like a raspberry, but our look more like the blackberry.

Roy gets them this year for wine....I got 2 cups to make a puree for some ice cream...
