The wind is up.

The wind is up, and howling down the valley. The birds appear to have retired. I can feel the temperature sinking, and suspect it is going to be a porcine night. There is no rain yet. And the dogs are quiet.

It is warm enough, nothing seems to penatrate this snug little house, but it is time to collect firewood. Which I will do!

I hope you have as cosy a time as we do. Evening, all.

Sounds like a good night for a fire along with a good book and a glass of wine...wish I was there...
