To all of my fellow Canadians (and those living in Canada) HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Hey Lorraine...I still enjoy doing it now and again in November! Kambree's Canadian citizenship has been approved!!! She now has duel citizenship! She will have her second and third Thanksgiving in the same year now!
Like I said before...Happy Thanksgiving to those Canadians celebrating!

To help you feel at home, here's something a friend who was a Montreal native told me:
Quote:
Do you know how Canada got its name?
The first couple of explorers were talking, and one said, "We need to name this place. What should we do?
The other said, "Let's draw some letters out of a hat and see what comes up. Go ahead and pick a few."
The first one pulled a letter out and said, "C, eh."
Then another, "N, eh."
Then another, "D, eh."
So the second one said, "Okay. That should be good enough."
LOL!

Very funny indeed! I am from not too far south of Montreal originally...
I have a Canada "friendly" joke but it isn't fit for the forums so I will be nice and not post it in return!

Hint: the "eh" is the common, Canadian interjection, usually pronounced "ay" as in "May." :-)

Happy Holiday to all our northern friends - it was a beautiful weekend, would have loved to go over to Victoria and spent the holiday with them!
Retired and having fun writing cookbooks, tasting wine and sharing recipes with all my friends.
