Ok...so maybe this isn't the most genius drink ever but I'm very proud of my creation. It's a yummy one & it's perfect for Autumn.
Caramel Apple Orchard Martini
1 ½ oz. Oval Vodka
1 oz. Hiram Walker Butterscotch Schnapps
2 ½ oz. Fresh Apple Cider (I used the real stuff from my local orchard)
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an apple slice and enjoy!

Actually, I prefer the rectangular vodka. It has more of an edge.
The Lo-ram Runner Schnapps is good, too.

Rob, you are sooooo naughty, bad boy, NO biscuit

mixr, hi there, that sounds like a nice martini to me. I will have to show my hubby, he loves to make them and I love to drink them.

The brand-name connection between his two posts got me suspicious. Then, when I Googled his username along with a couple of the brand names, I found the same messages posted on LOTS of other sites. Add to all of that his lack of productive, non-advertising contribution to ANY other threads, and the red flags raise even higher.

When I used to drink, Labs, I preferred the Oval vodka to the Square and you're right the square had a sharper edge
Don't wait too long to tell someone you love them.

Hi Farnfam,
I'm glad to hear you think the cocktail sounds good. It's pretty simple & a little bit sweet. As for some of the other comments here, all I can say is I created this recipe (again...I'm not claiming to be a genius) I hope you'll try it with whichever brand (or shape) of vodka you like

. I am guilty of belonging to several recipe swap/cocktail forums and of posting the same recipe on all of them but I like the different feedback I get from each group. A few people thought this cocktail was too sweet but you can adjust it to fit your palate.
