Re: (...)
Hi,
A few issues back there was a baklava recipe. Has anybody tried it? Can somebody please tell me which issue it is in? I cannot find.
Thanks

There is one in Issue 55 p34-35, it's called Four Nut Honey Baklava, does that sound like it?

No I haven't but it looks decadent, I really should spread my baking wings and try something daring like that.
Are you making it for a special occasion?

Hi,
I have a persian friend that is making us a persian dinner on saturday. I volunteered for appetizers and desert. Thought that would be a great desert for occasion. I love making appetizers so I am making Olive bread from Pioneer woman...made it probably 6 times in the past 3 weeks..family favorite now, chimichuri meatballs (another fav), fodue cheesecakes bites and brie artichoke crab dip from the last issue.
For desert I think i will go with that Baklava and we have a Quince tree, so i will make baked quinces with honey-maple syrup and vanilla ice cream. Thinking of another desert from Pioneer woman but we shall see if I have time or not. Chocolate cheesecake bars looked really good.
