Jose' and his companion were lost in the desert, starving and without water. Crawling along they saw what looked like a tree on the horizon--the heat was unbearable. Suddenly a smell wafed over--woderfull--it was the smell of bacon--"we are saved , it is a bacon tree, we are saved" cried Jose'!! There was pepper bacon, maple bacon, hickory smoked bacon, all cooking in the hot sun on the branches, grease dripping to the ground. Beautiful sight. As Jose was running toward the bacon tree with delight he was cut down with a machine gun---struggling to his knees he yelled to his companion--"run, run mi amigo--is not a bacon tree, it is a ham bush"

Ever notice on the "Next Top Chef" on Bravo, when ever a dish is made with bacon, everyone loves it....they never get voted off when there's bacon!

Yup! I saw something yesterday where they were making bacon ice cream using a kitchen aid mixer, a lovely egg custard, liquid nitrogen, and BACON!!! It looked so good. May just have to try that! Bacon ice cream with a big fat baked apple.

Bacon should be it's own food group! And I agree with no imitation bacon, it's just gross.
