Jean? Are you cooking yet?

Jean, I hope you and Roy are recovering from the flu.

Know that we miss you and we are thinking of you. Hope you feel better soon. Sure has been a rough end to winter for us too for sickeness. At least the sun is out! Finally! If only for a few days.

Thanks for asking, Erin. My mother died this morning - we went over Sunday so were with her for the last. We're all still recovering from the flu and I think I'm a little numb or shorcked or something. We knew it was coming, but.
Retired and having fun writing cookbooks, tasting wine and sharing recipes with all my friends.

Jean, you are with me in thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathy for your loss. You will be numb for a long time, so take time to heal. We're all here and will "keep watch" for you on the forum. Much love and big hugs are being sent your way.

Jean, I am so sorry to hear this. I don't think it helps much to know it is coming. It is still a terrible loss. I am glad you were able to be with her. My heart is heavy for you, I still miss my mom every day. I wish I could give you a big hug.

Jean, so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray that fond memories of your mother will in time replace the pain you feel today.

Jean & Roy, Bob and I are so very sorry for your loss. We know how difficult it is, even knowing it's coming. I am sure that your Mom passed knowing how much she was loved by all of you.

Our heartfelt prayers are with you and Roy.

Hugs

Sending my thoughts your way as well. Knowing it is coming doesn't ease that loss, just eliminates the shock.

Just know that all of us here miss you, but share in your sorrow.
