has had two showers today. It's raining and I let him out to go potty, turned around and he's playing in the mud. I cleaned him up and dried him and then WE went out so I could watch him. Wouldn't you know, the phone rings and I step inside to answer it...in the mud again! Next time he's going out on a leash! He decided he likes showers so that's probably why he plays in the mud. The vet said he was a pico-canine which means he will eat anything, rocks, cedar tree twigs & leaves, green slime that runs along outside the back fence, plastic, paper, charcoal etc. The vet said there was nothing you could do about it, just make sure he goes poop everyday. He pulls up the grass in the lawn and eats the muddy roots too.

Bless your heart, Billy! Surviving puppies is such a trial. Get that leash and show him who's the alpha male at that house!
BUT HE'S SO CUTE!!!!!

I don't think there's any chance of Billy establishing himself as "alpha" male - that pup has him wrapped around all of his paws! He is adorable!
Amazing, I forget how fast puppies grow!

I weighed him last night, he will be 5 months on the 23rd and weighs 37.5 pounds. He is calming down a little since I had him neutered, but is still rambunctious.
We leave to go to Portland (my sister's) tomorrow morning and will be up there until Thursday. Friday I have a stress test so better get a good nights sleep before it happens.

Glad to hear he's calming down, if only for a bit!
Good luck on your tests, Billy

and Happy Easter!

Did he get the satellite dish for a collar? I hated that when I had mine done, they wore the darn things for two weeks! The backs of my thighs were all bruised from where they ran into me, they would go past the wood pile and knock a log off, it was a rough couple of weeks!
