Hatch Chile Weekend

Central Market roasts Hatch chiles the last two weekends in August. We picked up some in Austin and I just put six lbs in the freezer. Seek some out--very tasty--dips, queso, chile rellanos, unique flavor. From New Mexico.

Oh Bill, I keep forgetting to tell you how much we enjoyed the cans you brought us - love those little buggers!! AND you have 6 lbs. in the freezer? green, green with envy!
