A Halloween Recipe from Lola

Peanut Butter Treats - for Dogs

Yield: 30 servings

3 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c Rolled oats
2 ts Baking powder
1 1/2 c Chicken Broth
1 1/4 c Peanut butter
1 tb Molasses
1 egg shell on (pulse in blender once or twice to grind shell a bit)

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Combine all ingredients, in bowl or food processor, into a stiff dough. Roll out to ΒΌ thickness and cut into desired shape. Spray cookie sheet and
Bake for 30min, turn off oven and leave in til cool

Store in airtight container.

Cis, she is just too cute!

Ok, here is a question. Whenever I give Rica a human food bite that has wheat in it - watch out. She will clear a room with her gass (sorry) But I notice your treats have whole wheat in them...Have you heard anything about wheat and dogs?

Erin, I've heard that white flour can aggravate skin allergies in dogs, but not whole wheat, or so I've read. As far as gas, I don't notice Lola having a reaction to these cookies......but she's too polite and well bred teehee

She is a cutie!! Well, first step...we're going to have to put a fence across the backyard driveway, 'cause Roy is taking about half of it to plant grapevines, so if the yard is fenced........
