Re: (...)
Just made a smoothie with Spinach, bananga, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries. The kids (and I) thought it was great. The kids said they would eat spinach that way anytime!

Lorraine,
All my berries were frozen last summer straight from the garden.

was the spinach raw? I have snuck more vegetables into spaghetti sauce than I can name. Good idea putting it into a smootie!

Yes, raw baby spinach. Couldn't even taste it. Just tasted like the berries. My kids are good vegie eaters, but it always good to get some new ones in there!

What a great idea, Erin! I'll share that with some of my "Mom's" with picky eaters. I'd tell the kids at school, but they'd just say "EWWWW!" and never give it a chance.

Since I got my Blendtec blender I've been making fruit and veggie smoothies too. Liked apple and oranges and grapes with spinach, carrot and celery. Awful color but tastes good.
