Re: (...)
It's official. My landlady says she's going to rent out the downstairs and the other apartment, but is going to reclaim my apartment for her son to use when he gets back from medical school. Because of other problems with her and the other two places, I do NOT plan to move from here into one of the others, so I've started looking for a new place.
Here's what I'm hoping to find:
- Doesn't cost much more than this place;
- Is in a decent part of town;
- Has a decent kitchen;
- If possible, has a little bit of land where I can plant a few herbs and vegetables (and run my smoker once it's finished);
- Will allow (and has a place for) my shortwave antenna.

Good luck dear. Moving is such a pain - I feel for you.
Has she given you a "drop dead" date that you have to be out? I know you'll find the perfect place - the "Big Guy" upstairs
always seems to move us along to something better when it's time (as long as we don't crawl into a corner and whine about it!
).
You only live once . . . but if you do it right once should be enough!
Hoping that you find something great for you, Rob.

Labs I'm there with ya. Meeting with the realtor today to put our house up. 15 years we've been here and I dread packing!

We moved about 6 years ago and I can't wait to never do that again! We also had a list of criteria - different from yours, but it all worked out fine. Good luck!

I hope it all works out for the better. I know moving is difficult, and a huge inconvenience. Hopefully you have time to find a wonderful new rental before you are ousted from your present home. It is even more stressful when you feel rushed. Best of luck, Rob.

And, I'm so sorry I'm busy on packing days!

Thanks. A couple of busy days, here, with other tasks, so haven't had any more time to look.
