Re: (...)
last Sunday. This is one of Michael (Iron Chef) Symon's restaurants in the Cleveland area. It is bar food, as advertised and very good. We had nice spicy lamb sausages, citrusy wings, homemade potato chips, his macaroni and cheese and duck paprikash. The mac and cheese was too salty and had to be sent back, but the rest was really good.

Very cool, Sally! Interesting that the mac and cheese was too salty.

Maybe when we go back to Ohio for Bob's nephew's wedding.
Sounds soooooo good - especially the spicy lamb sausage and the duck. Yummmmmm!

His mac'n cheese calls for 4 cups of heavy cream (reduced by half) and 8 oz of chevre. I have the feeling that more than one person seasoned it, and that's the reason for the over-salting. However, in his book, he advocates using a lot of salt.

That would be cool. We'll be in Ashtabula again! Let's see what we can do.
