Re: Asian Pork Sandwich - Mare749 - 08-10-2007 Hope you enjoy it, Bonnie. This was the first recipe I used when the magazine arrived, and have made it several times since. We really liked it. Jean, hope you try it too. Very tasty. Maryann Re: Asian Pork Sandwich - Roxanne 21 - 08-11-2007 It is a very nice recipe---very tasty!! Re: Asian Pork Sandwich - cjs - 04-02-2008 'anon' friend found this one again - I haven't made it, but will 'flag' it again. maybe this time! Re: Asian Pork Sandwich - labradors - 04-02-2008 Wow! Will have to mark this one. Maybe next week. Will change the salad part, though, since I don't like cucumbers (and vice versa), and we don't have bean sprouts here (unless, of course, I try my own with red beans, but that's not the same thing). Re: Asian Pork Sandwich - Mare749 - 04-02-2008 Thanks for bringing this up. Definately time to make it again! Re: Asian Pork Sandwich - VPS - 04-05-2008 I made some Chinese Pork Buns a while ago. I'm not sure how similar they are to the recipe in Menus vol 1 but they were delicious. Here is a link to the recipe with instructions and photos: http://damngoodfood.blogspot.com/2008/02/chinese-pork-buns.html Re: Asian Pork Sandwich - labradors - 04-05-2008 Man, those Chinese will use ANY part of the pork! LOL! Seriously: those DO look yummy. Thank you, and welcome to the site! |
