Tonight having the turkey thighs from the Thanksgiving turkey and serving it with some cranberry salsa I canned. Not sure on side dishes yet. Leaning towards cumin buttered cauliflower.

I have some leftover steak, so slicing it thin to put on ciabatta rolls for french dip, along with a few french fries.
Today was a cooking and baking day for me. I had a good supply of beef bones in the freezer, so I roasted them for a bit last night, then put them in the crockpot overnight to make stock. Today, I made 4 quarts of beef barley soup, 2 loaves of banana nut bread and 2 loaves of sourdough bread, all for my dad and my in-laws. Going out to deliver them as soon as the bread comes out of the oven.
ETA: This sourdough sandwich loaf came out so pretty that I just had to show it off.

Thank you for the nice compliments about my bread. I have never been much of a baker, so this is a big thrill for me!
Blane, we feel most fortunate to still have Ron's parents and my dad in our lives. It's important to me to do things for them that will brighten their days a bit. And cooking is what I know how to do.
