I guess this is the end? No one seems to have the time or the interest to keep this going.
I hope that C@H will keep the site up for a while, there is such a wealth of information, and so many memories . . .

Hey Everyone!
Long time, no post, but I drop by now and again to see what's out there.
I have a question. Last night, I started making a baked teriyaki chicken dinner. I think it was in the oven for about 10 minutes when emergency struck and I had to turn off the oven. When the chicken cooled down (it was in Pyrex) my neighbor moved it to a container and put it in the fridge for me. So it's probably not cooked all the way through.
I'm wondering, can I re-cook this or is it a total loss? I know, yucky question but still...

Burp! I have to spend this weekend cleaning out my fridge and maybe pantry.
1770 House Meatloaf (OMG), a Kohlrabi/Yukon Gold Gratin and buttered beets. Burp. It was an amazing dinner . . . now, what do I do with all the leftovers?

For dinner, last night, I combined THIS Mushroom Stew recipe and THIS Cheese Scone recipe to make a Mushroom Cobbler.
It was delicious and I do plan on making it again, but the next time, I'll double the mushroom part and halve (both the recipe and the thickness) of the scone part, since the undersides of the scones, where they sat on top of the mushroom mixture, was undercooked. Other than that, it was a great combination.

My question is "What's for dinner tonight?" Lol!
I'm making chicken satay with peanut sauce and pineapple rice.
